Brady Cole are a four piece rock band hailing from Fife, Scotland who are intent on the survival of good music. Taking their inspiration from bands such as Led Zeppelin, Oasis, Nirvana and The Who, the band have managed to mould a sound of their own that sets them apart from others. Having supported the Foo Fighters at the SECC in Glasgow back in 2005, the band have just been asked to open shows for the Foo’s upcoming UK arena tour……. Get in!!!!!!!!
Brady Cole don’t follow the crowd, they do things their way. It’s not rocket science. It’s simply Rock n Roll. .

A-Z GREAT GUITARISTS: Listener Special
Sunday 28th October (8pm)

Last in the series. For his final show Phil Manzanera looks at the guitar greats that didn't make his own list, but were suggested by you the listener. So if you e-mailed Phil throughout the series, listen in as we credit (to name a few) Martin Barre, Paul Kossoff and Mike Bloomfield, plus a special request for a great blues player, put in by a Mr D Gilmour of Grantchester Meadows!! Also this is the last chance to WIN a Les Paul guitar personally signed by Phil. He will be live in the studio with Nicky Horne on 7th November to draw the Les Paul competition, which closes Friday 2nd November.  Click Here

Bands

1)  'Basing Street Band' cover : early Free .
2)  'Free Spirit'  cover  : Free and Bad Co and play  the best versions of the tracks : 'Bad Co' and 'Ready for Love'  I've heard for some time.
3)  'Completely Free' have the most authentic rhythm section around, featuring a young look alike Andy Fraser and a drummer who is the nearest thing I've seen play like Simon Kirke, the whole band look the part too, sadly to say this will be the last gig for this line up, as  bassist is moving on to pastures new - miss this line up at your peril !

Cool Message from a fan - Used with permission

Hi Lucy, its Brendan up in Boston.
I had to drop you a line because im sitting at home watching the red sox win the pennant and the coolest thing happened
. They were showing one of the players on the other team and saying
how he has tried to win it all for the past 17 years and while they were talking about it they
were playing HEARTBREAKER in the background.
So for me it was a very cool nite. My team won and they got a great PAUL RODGERS song in...
.Bye for now Brendan Higgins
