Las Vegas First Stop on Rodgers’ Solo Tour

LAS VEGAS - February 26, 2011 - Paul Rodgers, who toured and recorded with Queen from 2004 to 2008 and reunited Bad Company 2008 to 2010 is at long last returning to the US with his solo band for an exclusive concert at the Eastside Events Center at the Eastside Cannery Casino & Hotel April 2nd.

“Playing with Queen was brilliant they interpreted my songs on an entirely new level. With Bad Company the musical fire (son of Led Zeppelins’ late drummer John) works were still there but creating and touring solo is where my heart is” says Rodgers, a Grammy® nominated and Platinum selling artist.

Rodgers is playing an exclusive 10 dates in the United States this year and his first stop will be at the Eastside Events Center Saturday, April 2 at 9 p.m.  This will be Rodgers first solo show pairing up with drummer Jason Bonham. Other band members include the familiar faces of guitarist Howard Leese (Heart) and Lynn Sorenson (bass).

Rodgers has chosen to rehearse for several days at Eastside Cannery Events Center for his upcoming UK tour prior to his show. His last UK solo tour culminated with the recording of his  debut solo DVD “Live in Glasgow” which charted at #1 in Canada, #2 in Japan, #3 in the US,  #4 in the UK and is now Certified Gold.

The singer/songwriter will be performing new songs from his up and coming solo CD, making it 31 album/CD releases since 1968, plus hits from his expansive back catalogue such as “All Right Now”- Free, “Feel Like Makin’ Love”- Bad Company and “Satisfaction Guaranteed”- The Firm.

Says Rodgers “Developing a set-list is always a bit of a balancing act but in the US it will be Bad Company heavy for fans.”

Tickets are available now: $39.95 for Reserved, $49.95 for Prime, $59.95 for Gold, plus tax and fees.  Tickets can be purchased by calling (702) 856-5470, or by visiting www.eastsidecannery.com. Tickets can also be purchased in person at the Eastside Cannery's box office at the front desk.

GRAHAMS NUMBER win in Atlanta !!

A Baby Band winner, Bon Jovi-dissing disqualification emerge at
Hard Rock Battle of the Bands

A L L R I G H T N O W . C O M

After four grueling weeks of competition, Atlanta rock trio Graham's Number will represent our city in the nationals of the
annual Hard Rock Cafe's Battle of the Bands competition. With a crazy amount of crowd support, tight musicianship and a spirited stage show at the Hard Rock Cafe
downtown early Friday morning, Graham's Number squeaked out a
win with their deft blend of old school Jimi Hendrix-era rock, soul and reggae influences.

Most astonishingly, only one out of the three kids in the act could legally drink inside the bar. Guitarist and vocalist Nic Sanders and drummer
Brandon McKinney are just 20-years-old while bassist Andy Scherm is the elder of the act at 21. Sanders and McKinney
met as students at Osborne High School while Scherm graduated from Pope High School.

The winners of the national competition will open for Bon Jovi in Hyde Park in London later this year. Band Battle judge and
Ticket Alternative president Iain Bluett told us privately:
"They would just be the perfect band to listen to outside in the sun in Hyde Park out of all the acts we saw tonight."

Other finalists with huge fan support Thursday night included Wesley Cook and Life & Limb. As part of the finals, each band
was required to perform a cover of a Bon Jovi tune to be filmed and later used for the nationals competition.
Atlanta finalists The Nominees chose a mash up of of the New Jersey rockers' classic "Livin' on a Prayer,"
combining it with Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean." Atlanta rock quartet The Swear battled sound issues
while banging through an impressive rendition of their original "Vampire" and guitarist Jeremy Zamora donned
a pin-adorned jean jacket for their cover of the late 1980s prom classic "Never Say Goodbye."

The evening's award for Best Rock Attitude went hip-hop/rock act United Streets of Atlanta, who scored well
with the judges and were possibly poised to win it all until they were disqualified from the competition after refusing to play a
Bon Jovi cover during their three-song set. Instead, they used the high profile gig to
promote the band's debut album release party tonight at Vinyl in Midtown at 8 p.m.

Sunshine by Stephen Rodgers

Paul Rodgers has posted the following statement online regarding the passing of legendary guitarist Gary Moore:

GARY MOORE 1952-2011

"Gary was a friend and a truly great man. I respect that he played the game his way... no time for B.S. He was focused and passionate about music and was one of the best.
"The last time that I jammed with Gary, he came on as my special guest at London's Royal Albert Hall and proceeded to take it to another level... the place imploded!
When he played, he was a man on fire.
"If there hadn't been an ocean between us and Gary didn't mind flying, we absolutely would have created more together.
"We've lost a great British blues man and I am very, very sad ..........

PAUL RODGERS PLANS ON CONCENTRATING ON SOLO CAREER IN 2011

    1/3/2011

After focusing on Bad Company in 2010, Paul Rodgers will concentrate on his solo career in 2011.
He tells us that in addition to a U.K. tour in April, he's working on new songs with the hope of recording an album. Rodgers says,
"I want to make it completely an analog album. I just don't like the sound of [digital]... I want to make it like the old days."

    ATTENTION SINGERS IN THE USA

About 6 months ago I stumbled on an amazing new site, TalentWatch.net.

I saw the potential immediately and have been following its growth ever since. It now appears it may end up being THE PLACE FOR UNDISCOVERED ARTISTS TO LAUNCH THEIR CA
REER. In fact, The Voice of America, a highly anticipated singing competition program, scheduled to air on NBC this spring, has given special attention to TalentWatch. Check out the following link on their NBC affiliate page! http://www.nbcthevoice.com/contact.html

A little info on TalentWatch…There’s a few wrinkles that really make this site cool. Besides music videos, every artist uploads a personal video where they tell their story. You get to rate artists on their talent, entertainment AND likeability. In fact, music fans drive this site. Bottom line- every music artist has an equal chance to rise to the top. Every single one. And that's the way it should be. Now don't you think it's time WE decide who deserves to be discovered.... I do.

Back to “The Voice of America.” You can register to audition for the show at
http://www.nbcthevoice.com/. Auditions take place in January and February in eight different cities. If you can’t make it to the auditions, go to http://www.talentwatch.net/ and upload some videos.

    They’ll be checking the
    TalentWatch site as well.
