The Famous Bein Inn (No longer)

Well - it's the start of a new era - The Famous Bein Inn is no longer a music venue.
Life goes on and a new dawn sees all existing gigs moved to the Glenfarg Hotel. This venues is currently home to the Glenfarg Village Folk Club (last year's Folk club of the year).

We understand that there has been a little hassle with people booking tickets/rooms at The Bein Inn but Mark at The Glenfarg is a nice guy to deal with and is actually embracing the concept of being part of the new best venue in the UK
We look forward to seeing you in the new place and thank you for your support

Rebel Company are a Middlesbrough based rock band that formed in late 2007.
The band performs an array of classic rock tracks from the 1970s.
Numbers include vintage Free & Bad Company tracks, but the band also includes
Jimmy Hendrix, Neil Young, Cream, and more within their repertoire.

A five piece outfit with Paul Waldby on bass guitar.
Bassist Paul played with cult Middlesbrough based Into Exile
for a number of years before playing the north east club scene.

Steve Tempestoso on lead vocals also began his musical journey with Into Exile
and has had stints with Sweet Sanity a Teesside based jazz funk outfit that were signed to a minor label.
Steve also experienced the north east club circuit as well as other local rock bands.

Guitarist and backing vocalist Simon, spent 5 years as guitarist
with north east club band 'Insider' before joining Rebel Company.

Lead guitarist Craig, played with Teesside based blues band
Skinny Legs and Indeep, where drummer Phil later joined.

Drummer Phil hails from Coventry where he performed in a number of bands
including Jonis Butterfly where they released several EPs with Circus records.
Phil is now a percussion teacher for the local authority.

Rebel Company have a number of gigs lined up throughout the year.

Sean Costello R.I.P

"Blues singer/guitarist Sean Costello was found today dead in his hotel room in Atlanta, Georgia.

He would have been 29 tomorrow. Cause of death is not known at present but details will posted on the Piedmont Talent website as they are revealed.

Sean had recently released his fourth CD, 'We Can Get Together' on the Delta Groove Record Label, and was a featured guitarist on the acclaimed new Nappy Brown CD 'Long Time Coming' on Blind Pig Records. A handsome young man with amazing guitar ability, a fine voice, and a strong sense of carrying forward the tradition of the blues, Sean was a rising star with a brilliant career in front of him. In a world where we sorrowfully watch so many elder statesman of the blues pass, the loss this youthful bright light is especially hard to take.
