About Me

I am a  Musician/Teacher from just outside london in Kent, My main Bands are...."Nicky Moore's Blues Corporation"  "The Timmy Moore Trio" and  "The Dr JJ's Blues Band" when i am not doing that i have a teaching business showing people important skills and hopefully opening up their minds to some of the fantastic music of the past and present, i find the most success with teaching people their favourite music and jamming it........i believe i grew up in the wrong era as i feel there was so much good music in the 60's and 70's and even some of the 80's and unfortunately nowadays there is so much repetitive pop, i realise music always comes back round again with phases etc, i just wish that there was more good songwriters around.......

I have so many influences, all the usual suspects....Jimi,srv, robben ford, larry carlton etc etc, but just lately am really into jeff beck, i really feel he says something thats quite individual to say and has always made different  kinds of music and taken chances.....

I had a very musical upbringing as my father "Nicky Moore" (who is in his 40th year as a proffesional singer) has always been in bands so i spent a lot of time sidestage/in studios and just generally around musicians, dad was in "Hackensack" in the early 70's and even supported "Free" :) Then the Jazz Rock Band "Tiger" and in the 80's "samson" and "Mammoth"....Since then i have been lucky enough to play in his great band "The Blues Corporation" and have played all over the country at most of the big Blues Festivals,  this was a dream come true and every gig is special to me........If you have ever thought about trying an instrument or singing, dont just have it as a dream, just go along and see a teacher for a lesson, you never know? :)....Thanks....Timmy
